Russian Bulletproof Helmet Sphera Ssh 94 SphereBulgarian version fo the russian sphera bullet proof helmet. This helmet is complete with storage bag and black cover. This helmet is currently used by russian troops and special forces in chechnya & georgia. It is designed to protect no less then 10dm2 of the total head area from fragments as well as 9mm makarov and psm 5.45mm bullets and 6.35 & 5.6mm pistol bullets. The helmet consists of three bullet proof plates inserted in a ballistic nylon cap, with side pockets and one plate over the top which is laced in. The padded liner is one-size-fits-all (from 56 to 60 cm). The weight is 2.75 kilos (6 lbs. ). Due to its weight it is not recommended to wear it for more than 3 4hours at a time!
