Helmet Pad For Ach Heat Activated Plus Acu Chin Strap
The msa ballistic helmet pad system si the suspension system for ach, mich and tc 2000 series ballistic helmets for the military. The pad system provides standoff, comfort, protection and stability.
The pads are easily attached, removed, and reattached to the inside of the inside of the helmet shell via a hook and loop fastening system in order to facilitate user comfort and integration with other equipment. The pads remain firmly in place when attached and provide the user with the ability to attach the pads where the wearer desires (i. E. In a variety of locations) and permit accommodation among different size and shape haeds and some equipment. The helmet x-style retention system features an adjustable length chinstrap that attaches with a side release buckle to prevent premature detachment. With dual chin strap adjustments, it eliminates the chinstrap canting effect associated with some other types of helmet retention systems.
The x-harnesst also incorporates a foam covered leather nape pad, which provides enhanced staiblity when wearing night vision goggles (nvgs) or conducting tactical movements. The nape pad remains securely in the correct position in the nape arae reducing helmet movement.
The helmet retention system's modular design also allows for chinstrap replacement, eliminating the need to rpelace the entire x-style retention system. The items in this aution are not new, btu are in good condition 100% jumpable.
